Moga, January 19 Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann laid the foundation stone on Sunday. This was for the expansion of the District Administrative Complex (DAC). The expansion includes constructing the third and fourth floor of the building. This will be completed at a cost of Rs 10.31 crore.
“CM Hails Start of Block B Expansion to Ease Space Crunch”
The Chief Minister said that today marks a red letter day in the district’s history. Construction of an additional two storeys of Block B in DAC has commenced. He said the DAC building, consisting of four blocks—A, B, C, and D—was built in 2004. Bhagwant Singh Mann announced plans to add two additional storeys to resolve the space shortage in various offices. They will also relocate some government offices currently operating from other locations.
FOUNDATION STONE ; “CM Announces Completion of 48-Room Project with New Lift and CCTV by August”
The Chief Minister announced that they would complete the project in about eight months by August this year.He added that workers will construct a total of 48 rooms across both floors. There will be provision of separate toilet blocks for gents and ladies on both floors. Bhagwant Singh Mann announced plans to install a new lift in the complex.It will have a carrying capacity of 13 persons. He added that both the floors will have a CCTV camera system for safety and security.
“CM Highlights Modern Building Features and Solar Power System”
The Chief Minister said that this ultra modern building will have fire detection systems. It will also have an emergency evacuation plan and a public address system. He also announced the installation of a 95 KW Solar Power Generation System in the building.This system will allow for adequate use of renewable energy. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the previous governments rarely focused on such initiatives. They neglected opportunities to serve the people better.
“CM Highlights Past Mismanagement and Focus on Public-Centric Development”
The Chief Minister stated that, in the past, the reins of the state were in the wrong hands. This caused significant suffering for the state. However, he emphasized that since assuming office, his government has prioritized focusing on projects. These projects are of immense public importance. Furthermore, Bhagwant Singh Mann mentioned that his government is actively constructing such buildings. “They are designing these structures with the future needs of the people in mind.”
