Inaugurates first NRIs milni at Chamrod Pattan in Pathankot
Chamrod Pattan (Pathankot), February 3- The Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Singh Mann, issued a clarion call to the Punjabi Diaspora settled across the globe, urging their wholehearted cooperation and support to transform the state’s economy and position it as a front runner globally.
Addressing a massive gathering of Non-Resident Indians converged here during NRI Milni, the Chief Minister highlighted the historical mistreatment NRIs faced during early regimes, emphasizing a paradigm shift in the state since assuming office. Mann assured the people of his commitment to resolving their genuine problems and emphasized the state government’s dedication to progress and prosperity.
Furthermore, Mann disclosed his efforts to attract foreign investment, promote tourism, and restore the dignity of NRIs. He underscored Punjab’s potential in various sectors and urged NRIs to contribute generously to its progress and prosperity.
In addition, Mann emphasized the importance of communal harmony and mutual tolerance in propelling Punjab’s growth trajectory. He called upon NRIs to actively participate in promoting education, healthcare, and social welfare for the betterment of future generations.
