ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ `ਦਾਸਤਾਨ-ਏ-ਸ਼ਹਾਦਤ` ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਪੀੜ੍ਹੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਾਮੱਤੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਏਗਾ ਜਾਣੂੰ
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚੰਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਵਡਭਾਗੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਅਤਿ-ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਦਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸਾਕਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਨਾ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਚੀ ਗੜ੍ਹੀ ਦੀ ਗਾਥਾ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣੂੰ ਕਰਵਾਏਗਾ।ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ `ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚੰਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਪੁਰਬ ਮੌਕੇ ਇਸ ਵੱਕਾਰੀ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਸੱਚਮੁੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ।ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚੰਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਪਲ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਦਿਆਂ ਸਮੇਤ ਸਿਰਫ਼ 42 ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸਿੱਖ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਗਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੱਡੀ ਫੌਜ ਦਾ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕਾਬਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ।ਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਸੰਕਲਪ `ਤੇ ਬੋਲਦਿਆਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਸਾਡੇ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਯੋਧਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਖੂਨ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੰਜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਗਲਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਬੇਮਿਸਾਲ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀਆਂ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਾਧਾਰਨ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਵਿਖਾਈ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚੰਨੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਵਿਖੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਤੇ ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ 11 ਗੈਲਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਗੁਰੂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਯੋਧੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਤੱਕ ਦੇ ਮਹਾਨ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਨਾਮੱਤੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇੱਥੇ ਦਿਖਾਈਆਂ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਇੰਨੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵੀ ਤੇ ਦਿਲਕਸ਼ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਦੇਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਉਸ ਯੁੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਪਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਗੈਲਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੌਰੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਆਡੀਓ-ਵਿਜੂਅਲ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਦੇਖੀ।ਆਪਣੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਹੰਗ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਦਲ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਬਾਬਾ ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚੰਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਖਾਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਕਾਰਜ ਨੂੰ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਇਸ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਨਗਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿੱਖ ਪੰਥ ਦੀ ਅਮੀਰ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਤੋਂ ਜਾਣੂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਹਿਮ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਨਿਭਾਏਗਾ।
ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਚੰਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਨੇ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਤਲਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਾਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੱਕ ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਤੋਂ ਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਤੱਕ ਨਗਰ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਏ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਉੱਘੀਆਂ ਅਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸ਼ਖਸੀਅਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰੋਪਾਓ, ਸ਼ਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਦੀ ਫਰੇਮ ਵਾਲੀ ਤਸਵੀਰ ਭੇਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਲਾਲ ਮੰਗੂਪੁਰ, ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਨਿਰੁਧ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ, ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸੰਜੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਹੁਸਨ ਲਾਲ, ਸੈਰ ਸਪਾਟਾ ਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਦੀ ਡਾਇਰੈਕਟਰ ਕਮਲਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਬਰਾੜ, ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਸੋਨਾਲੀ ਗਿਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਐੱਸਐੱਸਪੀ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਵਿਵੇਕ ਐਸ ਸੋਨੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਆਗੂ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਰਕਰ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।

Sri Chamkaur Sahib, November 19:
In a bid to pay befitting tributes to the Baba Ajit Singh Ji and Baba Jujhar Singh Ji- the elder Sahibzadas of Dasmesh Pita Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and 40 martyrs, the Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi accompanied by the Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit on Friday dedicated the prestigious ‘Dastan-e-Shahadat’ to the mankind in the august presence of Sant Samaj and other distinguished personalities so as to connect our younger generations with the glorious past replete with countless supreme sacrifices in the annals of Sikh history.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Channi said that he was fortunate enough that dream of his life has been fulfilled with the completion of this state-of-the-art theme park project, which would go a long way in apprising the people about the saga of Kacchi Garhi visiting this place not only from within the state but also across the country as well as world. Extending his heartiest greetings to the people on Prakash Purb of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, CM Channi said it was really a matter of great honour to inaugurate this prestigious project which happens to coincide with Gurpurab.
CM Channi said that the battle of Sri Chamkaur Sahib is a watershed moment in the Indian history where just 42 brave warriors including the elder Sahibzadas of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who valiantly fought against the coalition forces of the Mughals.
Dwelling on the concept of Theme Park, the Chief Minister said the sacred soil of Sri Chamkaur Sahib is soaked with the blood of our brave warriors who made unparalleled sacrifices and displayed heroic deeds during the battle against the Mughals.
CM Channi also complimented the former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh for initiating this prestigious theme project during his previous tenure, which has now been finally completed after meticulous planning and reviewing its progress from time to time by him as the Minister Incharge of Tourism & Cultural Affairs.
On the occasion, CM Channi along with the Punjab Governor visited the beautifully designed 11 galleries at the theme park, which effectively showcase Sikh history and glorious heritage from first Sikh Guru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji to legendary Sikh Warrior Baba Banda Singh Ji Bahadur and the presentations made there enabled the viewers to have an immersive experience thus taking them back to an era in which these events actually took place. Both the Chief Minister and Governor also witnessed audio-visual presentation on the Sikh history during their visit to the galleries.
In his address, Head of Nihang Buddha Dal Baba Balbir Singh lauded the stupendous efforts of CM Channi for ensuring holistic development of Sri Chamkaur Sahib especially accomplishing the gigantic task of theme park. He said the theme park project would enable the devotees visiting this holy town to apprise them about rich legacy of Sikh panth.
Earlier, CM Channi and Governor paid obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Qatalgarh Sahib and inaugurated the heritage street from main road to Gurdwara Sahib and also joined the procession from heritage street to theme park.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister honoured the Punjab Governor besides various prominent spiritual and religious personalities by presenting a siropa (robe of honour), shawl and framed picture of theme park.
Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included MLA Balachor Darshan Lal Mangupur, Chief Secretary Anirudh Tewari, Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar, Principal Secretary to CM Hussan Lal, Director Tourism and Cultural Affairs Kamalpreet Kaur Brar, DC Rupnagar Sonali Giri and SSP Rupnagar Vivek S Soni besides senior Congress leaders and party workers.
