Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha has criticised the GST Council for spending more time debating popcorn and chocolate cake instead of focusing on the burning issue of reducing taxes on health insurance.
Chadha said that when the GST Council spends more time debating popcorn and chocolate cake than reducing taxes on health insurance, you know that the priorities of this government are as confused as the GST system itself. Citizens need protection, not popcorn politics.
Chadha said One question, though: what flavor of popcorn is the Finance Minister relishing while watching the common man’s struggles?
