Minister for Local Government held a meeting with the MLA of Jalalabad to discuss development projects

The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is consistently striving to offer fundamental services and create a clean, pollution-free environment for the state’s residents. To advance in this direction, Local Government Minister Balkar Singh convened a meeting with Jalalabad MLA Jagdeep Kamboj Goldy to assess various development initiatives related to their constituency. Cabinet Minister ensured that every possible measure would be taken to accelerate Jalalabad’s development.
During the meeting, critical aspects such as infrastructure development, waste management, sanitation, and civic amenities in Jalalabad were thoroughly discussed between the Cabinet Minister and the MLA. He offered valuable insights to enhance the overall urban landscape. He mentioned that this collaborative effort underscores the government’s dedication to improving urban living conditions.
Local Government Minister Balkar Singh added that the Punjab government has ample funds for the state’s development projects. Ongoing and newly planned initiatives are under constant review. He emphasized that the government is also placing special emphasis on ensuring the quality of these development endeavors.
On this Occasion, Local Government Department Secretary Mr Ajoy Sharma, Director Mr Uma Shankar Gupta, and other officials were present in the meeting.
