Jalandhar/Chandigarh, July 3

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann held nukkad meetings in various areas of Jalandhar West Assembly on Wednesday. AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat and thousands of people attended these meetings. The Chief Minister held street meetings at many places including Nakodar Chowk and Main Road Avtar Nagar.

While addressing the people, Chief Minister Mann appealed to the people to make AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat win and said that you should make Mohinder Bhagat an MLA, we will make him a minister, then Jalandhar will develop at a faster pace.

Mann said the election result won’t change the government. Our government will stay, and no one else will form a new one. The Aam Aadmi Party candidate’s victory will ensure a share in the government and speed up development here.

He mentioned plans to open good schools and hospitals for better education and treatment. They will fix the sewerage system, repair streets and drains, and solve all electricity and water problems.

Mann said that he has closed about 16 toll plazas in Punjab. Due to which people are saving 60 lakh rupees a day. He said that these toll plazas were installed by Pratap Singh Bajwa, who is coming here to seek votes. We implemented one MLA one pension. We made 600 units of electricity free and gave government jobs to 43 thousand youth without any bribe.

Mann accused BJP candidate Sheetal Angural of switching parties out of greed after being elected as an AAP MLA two years ago. He blamed Angural’s selfish agenda and greed for the current election. He has made a mockery of democracy by resigning. Mann asked the people to teach him a lesson so that no one dares to resign like this again.

Mann said that by leaving the MLA post, he has betrayed the party and the people here. Due to his betrayal, crores of rupees are being spent from the government treasury in the by-election, which is people’s tax money. All the problems related to electricity and water.

Mann warned Sheetal Angural and said, “Don’t challenge me. I don’t have an NDPS case against me for drug smuggling like you. Give this threat of debate to someone else, you can debate with me whenever you want. Why are you waiting for the 5th, let’s debate today.”

Mann said he told Sheetal Angural to stop his corrupt activities, but Angural didn’t listen. Angural had difficulty doing illegal work in the Aam Aadmi Party, so he joined the BJP, which allows corruption. Mann vowed to prevent him from doing corruption.

Mann stated he didn’t enter politics to earn money. If he wanted money, he would have earned crores. Twenty years ago, he charged 25 lakh rupees for a show and 70 lakh rupees for an overseas show. Mann declared that if he is ever accused of corruption, he will leave politics.

Mann appealed to the people, saying that voting for BJP and Congress is pointless as he would still have to do the work.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has significantly contributed to Punjab’s development over the past two years. Encourage him by pressing the ‘jharoo’ button on the 10th, said Mohinder Bhagat.

‘AAP’ candidate Mohinder Bhagat thanked the attendees and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. He noted it is historic for a Chief Minister to live in Jalandhar with his family. He praised Mann’s work and urged people to support him on the 10th.
