Mann conducted road shows with AAP candidates in Maharajpur, Chhatarpur Nagar and Bijawar assembly constituencies of Bundelkhand
Just like Delhi and Punjab, we will deliver in Madhya Pradesh too – Bhagwant Mann
Kejriwal’s guarantee is not ‘jumla’, we fulfill the promises we make – Mann
Chandigarh, 26 October
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday campaigned in favor of Aam Aadmi Party candidates for the Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. Maan along with AAP candidates held road shows at various places in Maharajpur, Chhatarpur Nagar and Bijawar assembly constituencies of Bundelkhand and appealed to the people to vote for the Aam Aadmi Party.
Addressing the people during the road shows, Bhagwant Mann said that like Delhi and Punjab, we will deliver in Madhya Pradesh too after our government is formed here. People of MP will be given free electricity. We will build mohalla clinics for free treatment and build good government schools for the education of your children.
He said that Kejriwal’s guarantee is not a ‘jumla’ like the BJP. We deliver what we promise. All promises we made in Delhi and Punjab, we have fulfilled them. Today, more than 90 percent of the households in Punjab get zero electricity bills.
Mann said that in the last one and a half year, we have opened about 700 mohalla clinics in Punjab in which more than sixty lakh people have been treated so far. We are building ‘Schools of Eminence’ in every constituency of Punjab. Just a few days ago, a ‘School of Eminence’ was inaugurated in Amritsar. At the same time, we have given more than 37000 government jobs and are creating more employment opportunities for youth.
Mann said that the aim of our politics is that no person should have to worry for two square meals. People should not be forced to pay for the education and treatment of their children. This will only be possible when good education and good medical facilities are available free of cost.
Attacking BJP and Congress, Mann said that after forming the government, both the parties loot the people for four and a half years then do very little work in the last six months to fool the people. He said that the British looted India for 200 years. Whereas Congress and BJP are looting the country alternatively in installments of five-five years each.
He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party did a lot of corruption during its 18 years of rule in Madhya Pradesh. These people looted Madhya Pradesh heavily and filled their personal coffers. Now the people of Madhya Pradesh, like Delhi and Punjab, want change here and change means Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal.
