COMMITTEE CONSTITUTED TO LOOK INTO ISSUES CONFRONTING PALLEDARS

Chandigarh, March 9:

In a resolute stance towards the economic upliftment of Palledars, integral contributors to Punjab’s economic fabric, the Punjab Government, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is actively addressing their concerns for they toil hard to ensure a prosperous Wheat and Paddy season.

Today, a pivotal meeting transpired between the Committee of Ministers, featuring Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema and Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak, and the Joint Palledar Mazdoor Union, Punjab.

During this meeting, a groundbreaking decision was reached to establish a committee. This committee, comprising representatives from the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs, Finance, and Labour departments, along with members from the Palledar Union, FCI, and legal experts, will meticulously identify and address the primary issues faced by Palledars, within a specified timeframe.

The possible suggestions in this regard would be thus presented before the Committee of Ministers.

Among others present on the occasion included the Secretary Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Vikas Garg, Director Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Puneet Goyal, and Additional Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Dr. Anjuman Bhaskar and GM Finance Sarvesh Kumar.
