CBI Messive crackdown on corruption:Searches about 90 in location in Punjab and Chandigarh

CBI’s MASSIVE CRACKDOWN ON CHANNELISED CORRUPTION in FCI under Operation Kanak: 

– Further searches at 39 locations taking total locations to 99

-About 90 in locations in Punjab & Chandigarh, also searches in Agra(UP); Punchkula, Ambala, Narnaul & Gurugram(Har); Kolar & Chikkabalapur(Karnataka); Chennai(TN)

– Recovers over 1.03 crore cash, FDRs of over 3 crore and property documents

– Lockers also found

– One more arrested – Sh Satish Verma, Manager, Lab, DO, Chandigarh( from whom cash of over Rs 20lakh was recovered

– Cash of Rs 10 lakh(approx) recovered from ED FCI Sh Sudeep Singh.
