Health Minister Chetan Singh Jauramajra orders 108 ambulance company to make services more efficient

Zikitza Healthcare Limited organizes Scholarship Program-2022 in collaboration with Ambulance Access for All Foundation

 

 

– Health Minister of Punjab Chetan Singh Jauramajra honored the winners in the event

 

Chandigarh, December 16, 2022:

 

In an effort to reach out to its employees through their families and recognize their work, Zikitza Healthcare Limited has launched the Ambulance Access for All Foundation to help meritorious students in their higher studies and sports training and they have been provided annual scholarship grant . With this programme, Zikitza Healthcare has honored 108 ambulance staff children for their outstanding academic and sporting performance in the year 2021-22.

 

In this scholarship program-2022, 13 students were awarded for their excellent performance in academics and sports. A cheque of Rs.50000/- was given to each of the first winners in both the categories. A cheque of Rs.25000/- was given to each of the second place holder and third prize holder was honored with a cheque of Rs. 10000/- . ZHL also felicitated the crew staff of all the clusters of Punjab. 13 pilots and 13 EMTs were awarded with certificates, trophies and cash vouchers.

 

The chief guest in this event Chetan Singh Jauramajra, Health Minister, Punjab also felicitated the staff of the regional office. Kuljit Singh Randhawa MLA, Mrs. Dr. Neelima, IAS, MD, Punjab Health System Corporation, Jatinder Sharma, Head, Government Business, Zikitza Healthcare Ltd and Manish Batra, Project Head,were the among other personalities present on this occasion.

 

On this occasion, Health Minister of Punjab Chetan Singh Jauramajra, while sharing his views, said that despite Covid and other difficulties, students have proved that they can face any challenge collectively. Such awards motivate them to perform better academically and stay focused. We wish ZHL to continue organizing such annual scholarship programs for their betterment. Our vision is to make students not only excellent professionals but also good citizens.

He gave strict instructions to Zikitza Healthcare Limited that these 108 ambulances are like a life line in the state so these ambulances should be kept in perfect condition. The time taken by these ambulances to reach the patient should also be further reduced because time is equivalent to life to save the patient’s life. He said that any kind of complaint regarding 108 Ambulance will be taken very seriously and negligence will not be tolerated.

The Health Minister supported increasing the participation of women and said that today girls are coming forward in every field and Zikitza Healthcare Limited should also give opportunity to girls in this health care service sector.

 

Finally, the Health Minister also appreciated the courage and spirit of the 108 ambulance staff, for their selfless and committed service that they render in emergency situations.
