BJP runner up from Ludhiana South Satha joins Congress 

Warring gets further boost

LUDHIANA, May 29: In a further boost to the Punjab Congress president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring’s campaign in Ludhiana, the runner up candidate from Ludhiana South, Satinderpal Singh Satha joined the Congress.
He was inducted into the party by the Punjab in charge of the party Devinder Yadav and Warring here today.
In the 2022 assembly elections, Satha who contested as a BJP candidate from Ludhiana South, was the runner up who lost to the Aam Aadmi Party candidate.
Satha belongs to a prominent political family of Ludhiana. His father Jagdev Singh Tajouri was a cabinet minister in Punjab government.
Welcoming him into the party, Devinder Yadav said, it will further boost the party’s prospects in Ludhiana parliamentary constituency and will increase the victory margin.
