India World Forum seeks PM’s intervention to contain US-based Pannun’s anti-India disruptive propaganda

Sikhs are nationalists to the core: Puneet Singh
New Delhi, August 5:
The India World Forum has demanded that the US-based Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, General Counsel of the Sikhs For Justice, which was banned by India for its subversive and anti-national propaganda, be extradited to India so that he could be punished for instigating and fomenting anti-national sentiments among the Sikhs.
In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Forum has sought his intervention so that he could be punished under law for his nefarious anti-India designs. Puneet Singh, President of Indian World Forum referred to various representations sent to Delhi Police and demanded that with the help of the Interpol and the United Nations Security Council Pannun should be brought back to India and should be put to trial for provoking the Sikhs to indulge in subversive and militant activities including defaming the worlds most populous democracy.
The forum brought to the notice of the prime minister two videos produced by Pannun and have been in circulation for quite some time in India in which he has tried to instigate people to disrupt the 75th celebrations of India’s Independence by stopping the prime minister from hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort and burning the national tricolor followed by raising of Khalistan Flags.”Pannun has demanded and voiced to the general public to disgrace the national flag and disrupt the national festivities on August 15 at Red Fort, New Delhi and has hurled derogatory statements against the national sovereignty in order to radicalise the general public”, said the Forum.Pannun has also asked the anti national elements and the diaspora to disgrace and disrupt national festivities to be held at Indian missions in Chicago, Frankfurt, Houston, London, Melbourne, New York, Paris, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Washington DC.
The Forum demanded urgent action to be taken against Pannun for spearheading an anti-India campaign at the behest of ISI, Pakistan and other extremist organisations. Singh said Pannun is hand-in-glove with the ISI forces and is dancing to their tunes to disrupt the law and order situation in India.
The letter to the prime minister said “the Sikh community in India at large are firmly against his malicious movement and all his activities are against the Sikh ethos. The Sikhs have been always law-abiding and have been nationalists to the core, but unfortunately due to misdeeds of Gurpatwant Singh Pannun and his radical ideology the identity and integrity of Sikhs are being affected worldwide”.
