Bibi Jagir Kaur should tell when and where did she join Kisan ‘dharna’? Prof. Baljinder Kaur
Badal Dal earlier ‘grabbed’ power in the name of religion, now riveting its eyes on farmers: Kultar Sandhwan
When out of power, Badals’ love for Panth, Punjab and farmers grows even stronger

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab strongly objected to the statement made by Badal Dal leader Bibi Jagir Kaur on the ongoing farmers’ movement, saying that such a baseless statement was the outcome of the Badal Dal’s complete bewilderment.
In a joint statement issued from the party headquarters on Friday, Kisan Wing President and MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan and MLA Baljinder Kaur said that the eyes of Badal Dal, which had been contesting and winning elections in the name of religion, was now riveting its eyes on the farmers and their ongoing movement.
Kultar Sandhwan said that the Badal Dal was trying to reclaim its lost political ground via the Kisan movement, adding that the black laws were the outcome of protecting the ministerial berth of Harsirat Kaur Badal and its (Badal Dal) insatiable lust for power.
The Kasan leader said that the Badal clan was not even shying away from using the SGPC, the apex body of the Sikh Panth, to regain the lost political ground, adding that the nefarious design would not succeed.
Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that the real face of that Badal Dal stood exposed among the people and farmers of Punjab, adding that the Badals could go to any extent of enacting dramas to reclaim their political ground, which he said would not materialise. He said the people were well aware of their 10-year misrule, the mafia rule, disrespect to Guru Granth Sahib and betrayal of the Badal family over the agricultural laws.
Prof. Baljinder Kaur said that the people of Punjab were well aware the fact that the sole agenda of the Badal Dal during stint in power was merely to indulge in an open ‘loot’ and corruption, but when they were out of power, the Badal Dal it turned to the Panth, Punjab, Punjabiyat and farmers to leverage it for petty political ends. Cornering Bibi Jagir Kaur, Prof Baljinder Kaur asked when and where she joined the Kisan ‘Dharna’ during the ongoing farmers’ movement.
She said that the people of Punjab were fed up with the Badals, adding that in their bafflement, they were now lying and playing their cards through Bibi Jangir Kaur under the guise of SGPC that the Akali Dal was spearheading the farmers’ movement, demanding both Bibi Jagir Kaur and Badal family should apologize to the farmers and people of Punjab for such false and frivolous propaganda.
