Bhagwant Mann in Haryana – For free electricity, health and education vote for the Aam Aadmi Party

Chandigarh, 28 January* The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwat Mann held an election rally in Jind, Haryana on Sunday. All the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party Haryana unit and more than one lakh people gathered in the rally.

Addressing the rally, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the presence of people in large numbers, despite the cold, is proof that the people of Haryana are ready for change and to write a new story this time.

Arvind Kejriwal ‘son of Haryana’

Bhagwant Mann calling Arvind Kejriwal ‘son of Haryana’ said that Kejriwal has come to politics to end corruption. He ended corruption in Delhi, hence the people of Delhi formed the Aam Aadmi Party government twice with an overwhelming majority. When the echo of his work reached Punjab, in 2022 the people of Punjab also formed the Aam Aadmi Party government in the state by giving us 92 out of 117 seats. Now it is Haryana’s turn. This time in Haryana too, the AAP government will be formed with a huge majority.

zero electricity bills of about one lakh people of Punjab

Kejriwal and Mann had reached the Jind rally with zero electricity bills of about one lakh people of Punjab. Showing the electricity bills to the people, Mann said that during the Punjab Assembly elections, we gave guarantee of free electricity to the people. Within just three months of the formation of our government, from July 2022, the people of Punjab are getting zero electricity bills.

He said that if you do not trust these bills then Punjab is right next to Haryana. You can ask your relatives or people you know on the phone. We do not tell ‘jumle’ like the BJP. We deliver what we promise.

Mann enumerated many other achievements of his government in Punjab. He said that apart from free electricity, we have also done many historic works in the health sector in Punjab, we opened about 700 mohalla clinics in Punjab, in which about 90 lakh people have been treated so far.

In the field of employment also our government has worked on priority basis.  In 18 months, we have given government jobs to about 40,000 youth, lakhs of jobs have also been created in the private sector.  At the same time, we regularised the services of thousands of temporary employees. If the government is formed in Haryana too, we will give government jobs to lakhs of youth here also.

During his speech, Mann also attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that Modi used to sell tea in trains in his childhood and after becoming Prime Minister, he sold the railways. The Modi government sold dozens of government institutions of our country. He is only working for his capitalist friends.

Aam Aadmi Party will contest all 90 seats of Haryana : Arvind Kejriwal

Addressing the rally, the AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced that Aam Aadmi Party will contest all 90 seats of Haryana in the upcoming assembly elections. He appealed to the people of Haryana to form the Aam Aadmi Party government in the state and said that on one side of Haryana there is Delhi and on the other side there is Punjab. There is an Aam Aadmi Party government in both the states. So he urged the people of Haryana to form the AAP government too.
