During an international event held in Berlin, Germany, Punjab Tourism Minister Anmol Gagan Mann received the title of ‘Women Tourism Minister of the Year’ for her remarkable contributions to the field of tourism. Furthermore, Punjab also secured the Farm and Rural Tourism Award at the event. The three-day event, co-hosted by the International Tourism Boris Berlin (ITB Berlin) and the Pacific Area Travel Writers’ Association (PAWATA), welcomed companies and organizations from across the globe involved in the tourism industry.

Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann honoured with the award for the efforts made by the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, to promote the tourism industry in the state.

The three-day affair, jointly organized by the International Tourism Boris Berlin (ITB Berlin) and the Pacific Area Travel Writers’ Association (PAWATA), served as a global platform for companies and organizations affiliated with the tourism industry.

Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Maan received the award in recognition of the relentless efforts undertaken by the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan, to foster and promote tourism within the state.Following the award presentation, Anmol Gagan Mann expressed that Punjab has immense potential in the tourism industry. Moreover, she emphasized the necessity for proper infrastructure and promotion to capitalize on this potential. She highlighted her government’s commitment, led by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, to diligently work in this direction.
