Punjab announces paid holiday for the voters of Bhamme Kalan
Punjab government has declared a paid holiday on December 24, 2023 to enable the workers who are voters of Bye-Election of Sarpanch of Village Bhamme Kalan, Sardulgarh, District Mansa.
The spokesperson gave specifics, stating that on the day of the bye elections for the Sarpanch of Village Bhamme Kalan, Tehsil Sardulgarh, District Mansa, workers in shops, commercial establishments, and factories in the State of Punjab who are also Mansa voters will receive a paid holiday. This unique clause, which takes effect on Sunday, December 24, 2023, attempts to make voting easier for everyone, especially for people who work in Punjab, where Sundays aren’t often recognised as holidays in stores, commercial establishments, and industrial establishments.
