YOUTH TO BE DECIDING FACTOR IN VIDHAN SABHA POLLS: CHANNI
URGES YOUTH CONGRESS TO CHALK OUT 90 DAYS ROADMAP

Emphasizing the need to harness the immense potential of the State youth in a constructive manner, the Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Thursday said that the youth would be the deciding factor in the forthcoming Punjab Vidhan Sabha polls next year.
Addressing a delegation of the Punjab Youth Congress led by the President Barinder Singh Dhillon which called on him at CMO, the Chief Minister said that a 90 days roadmap should be chalked out with clear specification of activities to be undertaken at grassroots level across the State in order to galvanize the youth to throw heart and soul into preparation for the elections.
The Chief Minister further said that 11 member committee should be formed in each assembly constituency at the booth level. “A cycle yatra would be taken out soon from Punjab to Delhi with sole focus on the farmers issues in which 10,000 youth would participate”, added Channi.
A resolution was also read out on the occasion expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Congress High Command for reposing faith in Mr. Channi elevating him to the Chief Minister.
On the occasion, two posters were also released by the Chief Minister viz. ‘Saanjhi Siyasat, Saanjhi Virasat’ and ‘Punjab Da Bhavikh’.
Meanwhile, Resolution was also read by the youth Congress leader thanking Senior national Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, all the MLAs of Punjab for electing Charanjit Singh Channi as CM of Punjab, the fresh air and the simplicity of Charanjit Singh Channi has touched Punjab and every citizen.
“It is a great honour we are working with you sir and hopefully you will address all the issues related to youth as your foremost priority. We have seen many a times of your struggle and your speeches how it was difficult for ends to meet. In this time of crises we need a person like you who understand Punjab and work for the people who appraised and as well as people who struggle throughout their life. In the end on behalf of Punjab Youth Congress we are really thankful to you and highly appreciate your concern for Punjab, the resolution reads.”
