New Delhi, February 2, 2025: Pasmanda Vikas Foundation (PVF) organized a successful Quami Taalimi Award. They also held an Educational seminar at the Abdurrahman Auditorium. Additionally, an Economic awareness seminar took place at the India Islamic Culture Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. Over 500 people gathered for the event.
The event aimed of Pasmanda Vikas Foundation to bridge the gap between Madarsa and modern education. It sought to empower women and improve health and sanitation. The event also aimed to provide legal aid and develop the community’s infrastructure and facilities.
Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman of the National Minorities Commission, Government of India*, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Hazrat Maulana Murtaza Qasmi, Sheikhul Qurra, Madarsa Uloom, presided over the event.
*Md. Meraj Rayeen, Director of Pasmanda Vikas Foundation* said, “This event has two main goals. It aims to encourage the Pasmanda community to adopt modern education in Madarsa. It also seeks to promote social development.”

The event featured a Quran recitation by Hazrat Maulana Qari Ansarul Haq Mazahiri and a Nate-e-Nabi by Hafiz Shahdab, Delhi. Mufti Waseem Akram Qasmi Sahab, President, Majlis Ulema, PVF, delivered the welcome speech, while Md. Meraj Rayeen, Director, PVF, expressed gratitude to the dignitaries for their presence.
