New Delhi: In a strong retaliatory move following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, the Government of India has imposed a complete ban on all import and export activities with Pakistan. The decision marks a major escalation in diplomatic and economic pressure on Pakistan.
The ban comes at a time when Pakistan is grappling with a deepening economic crisis, further intensifying the impact of India’s latest action. “Officials stated that the move clearly sends a message against cross-border terrorism and those who support it.”
India has already taken several stern steps in recent weeks. Earlier, the Indian government announced the cancellation of the Indus Water Treaty and directed Pakistani nationals residing in India to leave the country.
The Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed multiple lives, has drawn sharp condemnation across the nation, with growing demands for tough action. The latest measures reflect India’s resolve to respond decisively to threats against its national security.
