NEW DELHI: In a powerful show of unity and defiance, the INDIA Alliance staged a massive protest at Jantar Mantar, condemning the alleged illegal arrest and mistreatment of AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Leaders from AAP, Congress, SP, CPI, CPIML, Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction), CPM, NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), TMC, and other parties stood in solidarity, demanding Arvind Kejriwal’s immediate release.

During this, CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, Sunita Kejriwal, stated that the Delhi CM’s life is in danger in jail. The INDIA Alliance vehemently decried the charges as politically motivated, rallying behind Arvind Kejriwal in this critical hour. The protest echoed across several states, the AAP supporters also protested in Assam, Rajasthan, Karnataka, West Bengal, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal, pointed out the conspiracy by the Modi government,

Sunita Kejriwal ED jailed Kejriwal based on an unproven statement from MP Magunta Reddy,

On the occasion, Sunita Kejriwal said that a deep political conspiracy led to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s imprisonment. She claimed that the ED jailed Kejriwal based on an unproven statement from MP Magunta Reddy, whom Kejriwal met only once. Reddy’s son was jailed for 5 months, causing family distress, and the ED allegedly coerced Reddy into accusing Kejriwal of demanding Rs 100 crore.

The ED’s actions, she said, were part of a conspiracy to keep Kejriwal imprisoned. Sunita noted that the central government responded by securing a stay on Kejriwal’s bail and arresting him again based on the MP’s statement. She accused the government of attempting to keep the CM in jail through a political conspiracy.

She also mentioned that Kejriwal, who has diabetes and requires insulin, was denied medication in jail, worsening his condition. Sunita described how his blood sugar levels dropped dangerously low five times while in jail.

She criticized the LG for claiming Kejriwal was eating too little and taking insufficient insulin, arguing this was another aspect of the conspiracy. Sunita accused the government of defaming Kejriwal and obstructing Delhi’s progress. She also questioned the effectiveness of BJP MPs and expressed confidence in the Chief Minister’s dedication to service.

It stole Shiv Sena’s bow and arrow, Sharad Pawar’s watch, and Chautala’s two slippers. These people eat up whoever comes with the BJP. The Punjab CM further added that wherever Arvind Kejriwal goes, BJP is wiped out, that’s why he was picked up and put in jail. Arvind Kejriwal has to take insulin injections daily, still, he is fighting for the country. What was Kejriwal’s fault that PM Modi put him in jail? He built schools, and hospitals, and made electricity free. Their investigating agencies are not finding any faults implicating CM Arvind Kejriwal. They have made a rule that you have to prove yourself innocent, then only you will get bail. There is a limit to cruelty. AAP is a party that has started a movement. AAP has made common people MLAs, ministers, chief ministers and thinks about the common people of the country.

“Modi Government Jails Delhi’s Leaders Without Evidence: Sanjay Singh”

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that today our family’s head Arvind Kejriwal is in jail. The Modi government has kept Delhi’s popular Chief Minister, Education Minister, and Health Minister in jail without any proof or basis. They also kept me in jail for 6 months. But if he is a dictator then we are AAP workers. We are Arvind Kejriwal’s soldiers fighting against dictatorship. Till now Arvind Kejriwal’s sugar level has gone below 50 many times. This means that he can go into a coma anytime, and his life can be in serious danger.

“This is a cruel government. For the first time in the history of the Indian judiciary, when the lower court granted bail, ED got a stay on the bail from the High Court without a copy of the order. “Pramod Tiwari Claims: Authorities Have Arrested CM Arvind Kejriwal Unconstitutionally”

Senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said that every single leader of the Congress is with the AAP in this struggle. First, authorities illegally arrested Arvind Kejriwal. Afterward, the court granted him bail. However, fearing Kejriwal, the BJP intervened to prevent his release. The ED secured a stay on his bail from the High Court without a court order. Subsequently, the CBI arrested him again despite the bail.  This is nothing but bad policy.

A Chief Minister who has been elected with a huge majority has been arrested unconstitutionally. They think that they can break us by arresting us. We had the option of joining the BJP earlier as well, but we did not bow down to it then, nor have we bowed down today, nor will we bow down tomorrow. Modi’s cup of sins is full. He has crossed all limits of inhumanity. Arvind Kejriwal’s sugar level is falling to dangerous levels. He should have been released on grounds of humanity, but that too is being opposed.

At the same time, Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi said that if the BJP has the illusion that it can intimidate any opposition leader by using the police administration, then this meeting of the INDIA Alliance has broken this illusion. The Prime Minister says that he has a 56-inch chest, but he hides behind ED-CBI. If the 2024 Lok Sabha elections had been fair, PM Modi would have been in the opposition and we all would have been in power. The ground of the BJP has cracked, no one is afraid of it after the 2024 elections. Today BJP is the most scared.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar said that Delhiites handed over the power of Delhi to Arvind Kejriwal by giving him a huge majority for three consecutive times. CBI Arrested Kejriwal in Conspiracy to Jail Him:  Bhattacharya

CPI (ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya accused the Modi government of imposing dictatorship across India. He said the people rejected this in the Lok Sabha elections, but the conspiracy continues.

Six months ago, the BJP allegedly orchestrated the arrests of Arvind Kejriwal and Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren to influence the elections. Hemant Soren was released on bail, while Arvind Kejriwal received 20 days’ bail for campaigning.

Bhattacharya claimed that now, after the Supreme Court granted bail to Kejriwal in the ED case, attempts are underway to extend his jail term using the CBI. and criticiser the central government for undermining the Delhi government with an ordinance and imposing the LG’s dictatorship.

He accused the government of curtailing Delhi’s elected government powers and creating instability by jailing Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendar Jain on false charges. He holds the Modi Government responsible for the current chaos in Delhi and the loss of student lives.

Senior CPI leader D. Raja said that since coming to power at the centre, BJP has continuously harmed democracy. AAP Delhi State Convenor Gopal Rai said that today Arvind Kejriwal’s health is deteriorating in jail, and his sugar level is going below 50 but the country’s dictatorial government is not paying any heed. The Rouse Avenue Court and Supreme Court granted bail to Kejriwal, but he was again put in jail by filing a fake CBI case. Today not only Delhi’s Chief Minister is in jail, but BJP has also held hostage lakhs of Delhi people who elected him. Three students lost their lives in Rajinder Nagar. The BJP government at the centre and LG, who are responsible for this, are silent.

“The Modi government brought an ordinance and snatched all the rights from the Delhi government and gave it to LG. They want all the rights, but when it comes to accountability, they turn their back and run away. If the BJP has the courage, then according to the Supreme Court’s order, it should return the rights to the Delhi government and get Arvind Kejriwal out of jail. If the officials of Delhi do not start trembling as soon as we get the power, then change the name of Arvind Kejriwal. BJP is playing with the lives of Delhiites and CM Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi will not tolerate it. We will fight this battle and win it,” Gopal Rai affirmed.

The limit of this injustice will end. No one is as cowardly as these two dictators of Gujarat. Tomorrow when we come to power, we will show them what ED-CBI is. This ED-CBI will handcuff them and take them away. Arvind Kejriwal is the commander of Delhi. We are warriors and know how to fight our battle.
