The Royal Global School celebrated 76th Independence Day

 

The 76th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at The Royal Global School Khiala Kalan which is located on the Bhikhi Mansa National Highway. On this occasion, the Indian Flag was hosted by the Principal of the school, Mrs. Yogita Bhatia. To represent the importance of Independence day the tricolor of the Indian Flag costumes were worn by the students.

 

Students presented Patriotic songs, choreography, skits, mime and the kindergarten students made this program more colorful by performing dance on patriotic songs. On this occasion, the school principal Mrs. Yogita Bhatia said that our forefathers fought a long battle to make India free on 15 August 1947. She said that today we are living in a free country due to the sacrifice of our patriots and martyrs. As per The Press Information Bureau (PIB) it was set to celebrate its 77th Independence Day in 2023 but this year may be considered the 76th anniversary of Indian Independence as the first anniversary was marked a year from the actual year that is 1948. On this 76th Independence day of the country, let us all salute the freedom fighters and martyrs of our country and try to learn the spirit of patriotism from them. The Chairman of the School Mr. Akimjeet singh Sohal also congratulated the children and school staff on Independence Day.
