
PM’s stories of citizen contributions inspire the Nation, says Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini
Chandigarh, June 29 – A mass listening event was held today in Gurugram. It featured Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio ‘Mann Ki Baat programme ’. The occasion was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Jagat Prakash Nadda. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini was also present. BJP Haryana State President Sh Mohanlal Badoli attended. Minister for Industry & Commerce and Environment Rao Narbir Singh graced the occasion as well.
The event took place at the GNH Convention Center in Booth No. 4 in the Badshahpur Assembly constituency. Senior party leaders, local citizens, and BJP workers gathered to listen to the Prime Minister’s address and engage in meaningful interaction.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini spoke to the media after the programme. He highlighted that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ showcases the inspiring stories of everyday citizens. These citizens contribute to the nation through their dedication and efforts. He said that the programme serves as a source of motivation for both the common man and future generations.
Following the broadcast, senior leaders also distributed Ayushman Cards to eligible beneficiaries under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. This initiative aims to ensure that government welfare schemes effectively reach those most in need. The event was part of a broader effort to strengthen public engagement and trust. It witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of citizens and party workers.
Mann Ki Baat’ programme: Chief Minister plants sapling, Urges public to join ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ Campaign
BJP National President JP Nadda and Environment Minister Rao Narbir Singh joined Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini. They planted saplings along the forest corridor developed by the Forest Department over the Badshahpur Drain near Vatika Chowk. He urged the people of Haryana to actively participate in the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, aimed at promoting environmental conservation. The Chief Minister said that under this initiative, every citizen should pledge to plant a tree. They should also nurture it in honour of their mother. He said this noble effort will contribute to a greener Haryana. It will also play a vital role in addressing the challenges of climate change.
MLAs Tejpal Tanwar, Bimla Chaudhary, Mukesh Sharma, former MMann Ki Baat’ programmeP and BJP Parliamentary Board member Dr. Sudha Yadav, DC Ajay Kumar, Municipal Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya, former MLA Sanjay Singh, BJP District President Sarvpriya Tyagi, Municipal Councilor Kuldeep Yadav and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.
