Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur inaugurates prefabricated Covid hospital at IGMC
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur today inaugurated 18 bedded prefabricated Covid hospital at Indira Gandhi Medical College and Hospital Shimla.
Chief Minister also inaugurated the blood donation camp organized by Chief Security Officer Bhim Singh Guleria, Outsource Official Association, Security Staff, ward attendants in IGMC Shimla. 75 units of blood was donated in the camp.
On the occasion of his birthday, the Chief Minister thanked all the blood donors and presented warm sweaters to them. Later, the Chief Minister honoured incharge of Lok Kalyan Samiti Rajesh Saraswati and his associates for rendering their services for the cremation of the deceased people who lost their lives due to Corona virus infection.
The Chief Minister dedicated e. Clinic, e. Court evidence, video conferencing and telemedicine the facilities to the people of the State.
On this occasion, Kisan Morcha Shimla participated in the blood donation camp and Chief Minister distributed blankets to the sanitation staff. Khichdi and halwa were distributed by the Lok Kalyan Samiti and employees to all the people present on the occasion.
Later, the Chief Minister also visited Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital and inaugurated a Roti making machine provided by Nofal Charitable Society.
Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj and MP Suresh Kashyap, Secretary Health Amitabh Awasthi, Director Medical Education and Research Dr. Ravi Chand Sharma, Principal Dr. Rajneesh Pathania, Senior Medical Superintendent Dr. Janakraj and Administrative Officer Dr. Rahul Gupta were also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister launches apps to facilitate MLAs and Citizens
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on the occasion of his birthday today launched three different Apps to facilitate the MLAs, Citizens and Visitors visiting the Front Office in CM Office Shimla.
Chief Minister said that ‘Vidhayak e-Mitra Seva’ would provide the MLAs online service on the mobile aap ‘Sikhar ki or Himachal’. He said that this aap would facilitate the MLAs in effective monitoring and follows up of their projects being implementing in their respective constituencies. He said that with this aap the MLAs would not have to visit frequently various offices for getting their works done.
All these software have been developed by National Informatics Centre, Shimla.
Chief Minister said that another app launched today was for ‘Visitor Management Software’ which would facilitate all the citizens and people willing to take appointment from the CM. The willing people can now apply online for taking appointment.
Jai Ram Thakur said that MLA dashboard or Constituency Monitoring Dashboard will provide date of constituencies to all MLAs related to developmental works, priorities, problems of citizens, references given to CM, details of beneficiaries of various schemes of the State Government, developmental works of different scheme related to their constituencies at a click of button.
Chief Minister said that workshop and presentation could be held to acquaint the MLAs about use of these apps. He urged the MLAs to make maximum use of technology for development of their areas.
Later, the Chief Minister on this birthday launched MyGov Himachal Digital News Letter. This monthly news letter would carry information and write-ups regarding various policies, programs and scheme of the State Government and would be available on various platforms of social media.
Deputy Director General and SIO NIC Ajay Singh Chahal and CEO MyGov Rajiv Sharma made presentations on the occasion regarding these apps.
MP and State BJP President Suresh Kashyap, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister JC Sharma, Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. RN Batta and other senior Officer were present on the occasion, whereas several MLAs joined the event online.
