Chandigarh, March 10 – Haryana has witnessed a significant reduction in incidents of crime against women. There was a sharp decline of 19.6% in 2024. A total of 9,488 cases were registered. This is compared to 11,814 cases in 2023. This marks a noteworthy decrease in crimes affecting women.
Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini informed this. He was responding to a question during the ongoing budget session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha today.
