
Chief Minister appeals to industrialists to join Haryana’s development journey by establishing industrial units
Chandigarh, June 4: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the state government has successfully created a strong Industrial environment. The environment is favorable for businesses. This development makes Haryana a top choice for industries both nationally and internationally. Speaking at a meeting with representatives of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry at his residence, Sant Kabir Kutir, the CM urged industrialists to set up units in Haryana and contribute to the state’s progress.
CM Highlights Infrastructure Boost and Business Reforms
Emphasizing the importance of infrastructure, Nayab Singh Saini highlighted Haryana’s well-developed road, rail, and air connectivity that meets industrial needs. He noted that many major companies from diverse sectors are establishing operations in the state, driving Haryana’s industrial growth.
The Chief Minister outlined key reforms introduced by the government to improve ease of doing business. These include the shift from a single window to a single roof system, which ensures a fixed time frame for every service. The process for obtaining No Objection Certificates (NOCs) has been streamlined, guaranteeing a turnaround time between 15 to 45 days.
Industrial : Haryana Budget 2025-26 Boosts Industry, Startups with New IMTs
As Finance Minister, Nayab Singh Saini detailed initiatives from the 2025-26 budget aimed at promoting Industrial development and startups. Plans are underway to develop 10 new Industrial Model Townships (IMTs) and strengthen the startup ecosystem. To encourage research, innovation, and private investment, the government is setting up a Fund of Funds. Additionally, the newly formed Department of Future will focus on emerging technologies and innovation.
The CM reaffirmed the government’s commitment to an inclusive budget by actively conducting pre-budget consultations with various community members; notably, these included industrialists and startups, with the clear intention to thoughtfully incorporate their valuable suggestions.
Haryana CM Unveils $1 Trillion Economy Vision by 2047
Looking ahead, Nayab Singh Saini shared the vision to transform Haryana into a $1 trillion economy by 2047, aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a Developed India. This ambitious goal will rely heavily on active industrial participation and sector growth.
During the event, the CM unveiled two significant white papers titled ‘Haryana: Gateway to Northern India’s Industrial Transformation’ and ‘Traditional Craft of Haryana on Global Runway’. He also invited further suggestions from industrial leaders and assured full government support to promote industrial growth.
The meeting was attended by prominent industrialists from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi. Key officials present included Principal Secretary to the CM Sh Arun Gupta. Political Secretary Tarun Bhandari also attended. Other attendees were OSD Sh Bharat Bhushan Bharti and Advisor for Foreign Cooperation Sh Pawan Chaudhary.
Hemant Jain is the President of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Sh Karan Gilhotra is the Chairman of the Punjab Chapter. They welcomed the Chief Minister. They also praised the government’s efforts to foster a thriving industrial ecosystem in Haryana.
