Massive Turnout on the Tenth Day of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra: Over 74 Thousand Pledge for a Developed India
Chandigarh December 10: Haryana citizens are reaping the rewards of government welfare initiatives through programs organized under the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra.’ Each day witnesses thousands joining this transformative Yatra, pledging to contribute to the development of India and steering the nation toward strength, prosperity, and power. On the tenth day of the yatra, over 62 thousand individuals committed themselves to the vision of a developed India, marking a collective effort to enhance social and economic well-being, fostering a spirit of collaboration for a flourishing future.

On December 9, the yatra unfolded across 127 locations in the state, drawing participation from over 74 thousand people. Health camps set up during the yatra attracted over 20 thousand attendees who underwent health checkups, with 13,785 individuals screened for TB. The Ayushman Card camp benefited 161 individuals, 165 people availed services at the Aadhar Card camp, and 97 farmers sought information on natural farming. Furthermore, hundreds enrolled for the PM Ujjwala scheme during the yatra.
Local residents recognized for their outstanding contributions
To boost public engagement in the yatra and encourage impactful contributions to society, local figures making noteworthy strides were felicitated. On the tenth day, 990 high-achieving students, 747 women engaged in social work, 260 local athletes, and 231 folk artists received recognition.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra ensures that eligible beneficiaries receive accurate information about government facilities and schemes, enabling them to avail themselves of these resources effectively. The Yarta continues to catalyze positive transformations throughout the nation.
