Chandigarh, November 20 – Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Fieries, and Animal Husbandry Minister, . yam Singh Rana expressed his gratitude for the trust bestowed upon him by Chief Minister, . Nayab Singh Saini. He was entrusted with the responsibility of state departments, including agriculture, and emphasized that his primary focus will be on addressing the challenges faced by farmers and strengthening the agriculture sector in the state. Hailing from a farmer family himself, . Rana acknowledged the significant contribution of Haryana’s farmers to the country’s food security and highlighted the state’s pivotal role in the agricultural sector.
In a statement issued here today, the Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister said that under the leaderip of Chief Minister . Nayab Singh Saini, the state government has consistently prioritized farmers’ welfare. He pointed out that Haryana is the only state in the country where the maximum number of crops are being purchased at Minimum Support Price (MSP). Despite opposition parties spreading misinformation to mislead farmers, the state government remains committed to ensure the best interests of the farmers, . Rana added.
He stressed that as a democratic country, it is the collective responsibility of all citizens to contribute to the nation’s progress while maintaining unity and brotherhood. Under the vision of the state government, continuous efforts are being made for the welfare of the poor and marginalized sections of society. . Rana highlighted that the state government has introduced several landmark policies and schemes that are contributing to the prosperity of the state.
. Rana also commended Chief Minister . Nayab Singh Saini for bringing about transformative initiatives aimed at uplifting all sections of society, including farmers, youth, employees, and women. Under the guidance of former Chief Minister and present Union Power Minister, . Manohar Lal, the government is focused on delivering tangible benefits through policies like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (housing for the poor), provision of electricity and water, Ayuman Bharat Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana (free gas connections), Matri Vandana Yojana, PM Swanidhi, Swamitva Yojana, and numerous other welfare schemes.
The Minister emphasized that the Chief Minister’s vision is clear to ensure that the benefits of government schemes and policies reach every citizen, especially those at the grassroots level. This approach has resulted in visible prosperity across the state. He said that the development works, which are still underway, will be completed soon, and the remaining works will begin ortly. .
