Chandigarh, January 19 Haryana Leading ; Prime Minister Narendra Modidelivered his first ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme of 2025. He highlighted the growing startup culture in cities like Ambala and Hisar in Haryana. He expressed his happiness that cities like Ambala and Hisar are emerging as hubs for startups. PM remarked that the startup culture extends beyond large cities. More than half of the startups in smaller cities are led by our daughters. For this, Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini thanked the Prime Minister for his remarks.

Prime Minister praised the startups from Ambala
The Chief Minister addressed the party workers after the program. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had praised the startups from Ambala. He also praised those from Hisar in Haryana. The Prime Minister mentioned them in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. He further added that Haryana is home to many young entrepreneurs. These startups are now setting benchmarks. Their turnovers range from Rs 100 to 200 crores.
State Government considering new schemes in 2025-26 Budget : Chief Minister
The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to establishing Haryana as a leading startup hub. The government is making concerted efforts to position Haryana as a major player in the national startup ecosystem. These efforts align with the goals of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Startup India’. The aim is to accelerate the state’s economic development. It is also to create new employment opportunities for the youth. This will ensure that Haryana earns a distinctive identity as a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship across the country. The Chief Minister further mentioned that the state government is actively considering new schemes in the upcoming budget. These schemes will be for the financial year 2025-26. They aim to promote startups.

He urged all party workers to listen to the programme every month. They should listen with citizens at their respective booths. He called on the workers to connect as many people as possible. It is especially important to connect the youth with the Mann Ki Baat program.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the efforts of Kaithal’s young farmer, Virendra Yadav. He recognized Virendra for his work on stubble management in a previous episode.
Central Government is working for the welfare of the common people.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the Central Government is working for the welfare of the common people. The State Government is also working continuously for their welfare. The direct benefits are reaching the eligible individuals. He highlighted that this work resulted in the formation of the BJP government. The party achieved a massive majority for the third consecutive time in Haryana. He acknowledged that people have high expectations from the government and emphasized the need to meet those expectations. He urged party workers to address the grievances of the people.
24,000 youth received government jobs
The Chief Minister further said that for the first time in history, 24,000 youth received government jobs simultaneously. This happened as soon as the government was formed. He added that people have already accepted that the Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government again in 2029.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had mentioned the contributions of the Constituent Assembly members. He also acknowledged the importance of the Maha Kumbh. He also noted India’s achievements in Space during his Mann Ki Baat programme. In addition, he recalled the bravery of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in his fight against the British. He highlighted that every year, his birth anniversary is celebrated as Parakram Diwas on January 23.
