Home Minister Anil Vij today redressed to the grievances of people of the state at his residence in Ambala*

Chandigarh, March 7 – Haryana’s Home Minister Today, Anil Vij addressed the grievances of people at his residence in Ambala. He directed concerned officials to take action promptly. The Home Minister received complaints from women victims of various rape cases regarding the lack of action taken. Consequently, Home Minister Anil Vij instructed the SPs of the respective districts to take strict action. A woman from YamunaNagar reported that some time ago she had filed a case of rape in YamunaNagar; however, the police have not yet arrested the accused. Similarly, a woman from Karnal stated that in the case of rape, the police have arrested one accused so far, while the rest are still absconding. Anil Vij directed strict action in both cases.

Home Minister Orders Investigations in Haryana Cases

Similarly, a family from Ambala informed that their daughter-in-law has left home with nearly 50 tolas of jewellery and cash and is filing a false case against them. The Home Minister instructed the SP, Ambala to investigate the matter. Likewise, a family from Hisar also accused their daughter-in-law of harassing them. The married woman from Hisar reported that her in-laws demanded dowry from her and harassed her before kicking her out of the house. “Now, hackers have compromised her social media account and are sending out inappropriate messages.” Home Minister Anil Vij directed the SP, Hisar to investigate the matter. People from Paplauta village in Panipat accused encroachment on panchayati land, on which the Home Minister directed the DC, Panipat to investigate.

 Anil Vij Responds to Various Complaints Across Haryana

Residents from different areas filed various complaints: one from Narayangarh reported land encroachment, another from Ambala accused a GRP employee of cash demands, a married woman from Shahabad alleged harassment by her in-laws, a person from Kurukshetra faced assault accusations, a youth from Kaithal was blamed for negligence in handling an assault case, alongside numerous other allegations. Home Minister Anil Vij instructed the respective authorities to take action in response to these complaints.”
 Anil Vij conveyed profound sorrow at the passing of former Deputy Speaker of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha, Master Fakirchand Agrawal, today. Additionally, Sh. Vij paid his respects at the cremation ground situated on Jain College Road in Ambala city this morning, extending heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
