Chandigarh, February 4 – Haryana’s development : Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said that the Bharatiya Janata Party government came to power in Haryana. This happened under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Since then, the Govt has made significant strides in all-round Development of Haryana . He said that since 2014, there has been a remarkable transformation in every aspect of the state. These changes include infrastructure improvements and welfare initiatives. The common people are experiencing these positive changes firsthand.
The Chief Minister was addressing the media persons following a Cabinet meeting here today. Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Shyam Singh Rana, Cooperation Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma and Director General of Information, Public Relations and Languages Department, Sh K. Makrand Pandurang were also present.
The Chief Minister responded to a question regarding the upcoming elections for urban local bodies. He said that we are fully prepared for the elections. and Development of Haryana .
In response to another question, the Chief Minister said that the Haryana Government is consistently reimbursing treatment costs. This applies for all private hospitals under the Ayushman Bharat Card Scheme. He mentioned that the “double engine” government is led by Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi. This government is offering free treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh to the poor and needy through this scheme. To date, approximately 20 lakh beneficiaries in Haryana have received assistance through the Ayushman scheme.
Delhi people frustrated with the Aam Aadmi Party government
Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that during the Delhi election campaign, people expressed their dissatisfaction. They stated that they had been deprived of the benefits of the Ayushman Card Scheme. The Delhi government has confined the needy to Mohalla Clinics. These clinics only provide first aid. There is no coverage under the Ayushman Scheme for hospital admissions during health emergencies. He further stated that Sh Arvind Kejriwal has made empty promises. He has given these promises to the people of Delhi over the past 10 years. The people of Delhi are extremely frustrated with the Aam Aadmi Party government. They plan to vent this frustration in the Delhi Assembly elections on February 5.
He mentioned that Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi has made an announcement. Under the Ayushman Card Scheme, the needy and poor people in Delhi will receive free treatment up to Rs 10 lakh.

When asked about corruption, the Chief Minister asserted that there is no tolerance for corruption in Haryana. He assured that strict action would be taken against anyone found indulging in corrupt practices.

He added that no matter how much good work the current government accomplishes, it is the opposition’s compulsion to criticize. While the opposition is entitled to its views, it should ensure that such opposition does not harm society.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the Union Budget has provided significant relief to farmers, small industries, and the middle class. He said that they have made income up to Rs 12 lakh tax-free, benefiting crores of people. They have increased the limit for Kisan Credit Cards for farmers from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, providing greater financial support. They will give special attention to 100 low-productivity districts under the Dhan-Dhanya Krishi Yojana, which will enhance farmers’ income.
The budget outlines a five-year mission to boost cotton production, which will strengthen the country’s textile industry.. Loans up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to cotton farmers at low interest rates. The Chief Minister said that this budget is a significant step toward improving the standard of living of farmers and strengthening the agriculture sector. As Haryana is an agriculture-dominated state, it stands to benefit greatly from these provisions. A new plant with an annual capacity of 12.7 lakh metric tonnes will strengthen the urea supply by being set up in Namrup, Assam.
CM Highlights Union Budget Initiatives for Women, Startups, Education, and Rural Prosperity
The Chief Minister highlighted that the Union Budget has introduced a new scheme for 5 lakh women from the SC-ST category. This scheme offers them a term loan of up to Rs 2 crore. He further said that to promote startups, the loan limit has been increased from Rs 10 crore to Rs 20 crore. This initiative is a significant step toward empowering women and strengthening new startups.
The Chief Minister also pointed out the major announcements made in the education and health sectors. In the next five years, they will add 75,000 new seats in medical education, expanding access to healthcare training. Additionally, they will launch a comprehensive multi-sectoral rural prosperity and resilience program to tackle the lack of employment in the agriculture sector.

CM Announces Boost for MSMEs, Toy Industry, and PM Swanidhi Scheme
The Chief Minister announced that the government has increased the loan guarantee cover for the MSME sector from Rs 5 crore to Rs 10 crore, providing additional support to small industries. The government will also issue special credit cards for small industries, with plans to distribute 10 lakh cards in the first year. Additionally, the government will launch a special scheme for the toy industry under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. Recognizing the success of the PM Swanidhi scheme, the Chief Minister stated that the government will further strengthen it. To date, 68 lakh street vendors have benefited from this scheme. The new version of the scheme will offer enhanced support, including larger loans from banks, UPI-linked credit cards with a limit of Rs 30,000, and capacity-building initiatives.
Haryana’s Rail Infrastructure Strengthened with Rs 3,416 Crore Investment
Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav for allocating Rs 3,416 crore to strengthen Haryana’s rail infrastructure in the Railway Budget, Nayab Singh Saini said that this amount is 11 times greater than the Rs 315 crore allocated from 2009 to 2014. He further highlighted that since 2014, they have completed 823 km of railway track work in Haryana, and they are currently working on 14 new projects covering 1,195 km, with a total investment of Rs 15,875 crore.
He mentioned that the government is developing 34 railway stations in Haryana as Amrit stations with an allocation of Rs 1,149 crore.. Additionally, work is currently underway on 14 new railway tracks in the state, with a total investment of Rs 15,875 crore for laying 1,195 km of new tracks. The workers have completed the electrification of 121 tracks and constructed 534 railway flyovers and underpasses during this period.
He further highlighted that the government has allocated Rs 398 crore for the modernization of railways under the Kavach projects.Haryana has also received connectivity for five Vande Bharat Express trains. Currently, Wi-Fi facilities have been provided at 144 railway stations across the state.
