Suggestions given by entrepreneurs will be included in the upcoming budget– Chief Minister
Chandigarh, January 30- Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini held a pre-budget consultation meeting in Panipat on Thursday. He met with representatives of the textile industry regarding the 2025-26 Budget Industries and Commerce Minister, Rao Narbir Singh also remained present during the meeting.
The Chief Minister mentioned that he received suggestions from the textile industry. These will be considered for inclusion in the upcoming budget. This will ensure that industries fully benefit from the state government’s policies. It will also generate maximum employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister encouraged entrepreneurs to submit their suggestions either through the government’s dedicated portal or in writing. These suggestions will help formulate new policies in the budget to strengthen the state’s social and economic infrastructure, he said.
. Nayab Singh Saini further said that the state government has formulated a policy to make the textile sector self-reliant. Continuous efforts are being made to promote small industries. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, both the Central and Haryana governments are working towards promoting self-employment. The government’s objective is to ensure a significant contribution from the industrial sector in the nation’s development, he said.
pre-budget : Over 9,000 suggestions received for the budget so far*
“The Chief Minister said that the state government is inviting suggestions from various sections of society to incorporate the best ideas into an inclusive budget.”. He said that, for the first time, the state government has introduced a system allowing any citizen to submit budget-related suggestions online from the comfort of their home. Nayab Singh Saini stated that the government has developed a dedicated portal for this purpose. They have received 9,000 suggestions through pre-budget consultations with representatives from various sectors across the state.
He said that the objective of holding pre-budget consultation meetings is to formulate policies that ensure the welfare and economic upliftment of every section of society.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the suggestions provided by various entrepreneurs in Panipat today would play a crucial role in strengthening and empowering the state through the upcoming budget.
Notably, around 15 representatives from different industry organizations participated in this discussion and shared their suggestions with the Chief Minister.
MLA, Sh. Parmod Vij, Additional Chief Secretary, Town and Country Planning Department, Sh. A.K. Singh, Director General, Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management, Sh. Anshaj Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Virender Kumar Dahiya, former MP Sh. Sanjay Bhatia, and other officers also attended the meeting.
