Punjab CM Warns Tehsildars Against Strike, Reaffirms Zero-Tolerance on Corruption
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has warned Tehsildars against going on strike in support of their corrupt colleagues, stating that the government follows a zero-tolerance policy against bribery.
The Chief Minister said that to prevent inconvenience to the public, the administration has assigned Tehsil duties to other officers to ensure uninterrupted services. He extended his best wishes to Tehsildars on their collective leave but added that once the leave ends, the people will decide when and where they have to report for duty.
