Saryu D. Madra from PGIMER selected for prestigious PRCI AMEYAA Award 2021

Chandigarh:  March 9: It has been more laurels for PGIMER as Saryu D. Madra placed as Consultant (IEC/Media) with ROTTO PGIMER has been selected for the distinct honour of prestigious PRCI AMEYAA Award 2021 by Public Relations Council of India (PRCI).

 

The award has been announced by PRCI Governing Council for Women Achievers on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2021 and Ms.  Saryu D. Madra has been selected for the esteemed PRCI AMEYAA Award 2021 for her precious contribution to domains of Public Relations, Communication and also for the outstanding contribution towards PRCI & YCC Movement.

 

Prof. Jagat Ram, Director PGIMER, while congratulating Mrs Saryu D. Madra on her accomplishment stated, “The Institute is proud of this outstanding and very well deserved achievement. She has brought in a perceptible difference in media engagement with her focused media strategy, positive approach and proactive demeanour especially during the challenging times of COVID-19. The award is a reiteration that hard work pays off.”

 

An accomplished Media & Communications Professional, Mrs Saryu D. Madra joined PGIMER as Consultant (IEC/Media) with Regional Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation (ROTTO) PGIMER in March, 2016 and has been instrumental in mainstreaming the cause of Cadaver Organ Donation through consistent and focused media visibility.  With the onset of COVID-19 in the early months of 2020, Ms. Madra has been handling Public Relations for PGIMER as well.

 

With her sojourn with PGIMER, Ms Saryu D. Madra brings to the table an experience of over 25 years ranging from working with government undertakings, premier industry chambers to corporate giants.

 

A consistently high performer with demonstrated success in managing diverse Public Relations functions, Ms. Madra has a keen strategic sense & analytic ability coupled with a balanced and amiable personality.

 

A gold medalist from Deptt. of Mass Communications & Journalism, Panjab University, Ms Madra is a frequent traveler and an avid reader.
