Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rana K.P. Singh takes COVID-19 Vaccine shot today at PGIMER

Chandigarh: March 13 :  Rana K.P. Singh, Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha came forward  to take COVID-19 vaccine shots here at PGIMER today.

Rana K.P. Singh was administered Covishield vaccine at the vaccination centre at Nehru Hospital Extension (NHE) at PGIMER.

Looking cheerful,  Singh urged others to have faith in medical science and join the drive as he came out of the vaccination room after getting the shot. He stated,” With the Covid cases increasing again at a fast pace, we don’t need any other evidence to understand that Covid has not gone away. It’s very much here and the threat of getting infected is very much real.

“So vaccination and Covid appropriate behavior of wearing a mask, hand hygiene and maintaining social distance can only help in containing the transmission,” added Shri Singh.

Sharing his experience of vaccination,  Singh said, “I am feeling absolutely fine. The overall environment at the Vaccination Centre is peaceful and positive with staff manning the Centre attending to everyone, responding to their queries and doubts patiently and counselling well. This definitely calls for appreciation.”
