A serene statue of Lord Buddha, generously donated by Savita Rana, has been installed at Rana Park in Rajeev Vihar Army Welfare Housing Society. The installation was carried out under the leadership of Col. D. S. Sra, President of the Society, along with the entire Management Committee.
Col. D. S. Sra and his team have been re-elected unopposed for another two-year term (2025–2027), as no nomination papers were filed by any contestants. In addition, new members have also been inducted into the Management Committee, further strengthening the administrative body of the Society.
The newly elected Management Committee has announced plans to undertake several improvements in the park area. As part of these initiatives, Rana Park will be developed into a peaceful space dedicated to yoga and meditation, promoting health, wellness, and tranquility among residents.
Col. D. S. Sra, along with his newly elected team members of Rajeev Vihar Army Welfare Housing Society, reaffirmed their commitment to the overall development and well-being of the residents of Sector 13, Chandigarh. The installation of the Lord Buddha statue marks a step towards fostering harmony, peace, and a healthy lifestyle within the community.
