Annual Prize Distribution at Post Graduate Govt College for Girls

CHANDIGARH : APRIL 9,  : The 66th Annual Prize Distribution Function of Post-Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector-11, Chandigarh, was held today.  Ms. Monica Bhatia, IRS, Director General of Income Tax, North Western Region, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest.  Ms. Monica Bhatia, an alumna of this very college, applauded the institution’s progress and encouraged it to strive for financial independence to become empowered.

Over 650 trophies and prizes were awarded to students for outstanding achievements in academics, sports, and extra-curricular activities. Prof. Anita Kaushal, the college Principal, highlighted student accomplishments and faculty contributions in the Annual Report.

The college was praised for its efforts in environmental conservation, sustainable development, and various campaigns, receiving prestigious awards including overall Trophy in university festivals. Additionally,

50 students were felicitated with College Colour and 67 with Roll of Honour for their achievements in Academics, sports and extra-curricular activities at different levels. The all round best students were also given the award instituted by Mr. B.S. Ojha IAS (Retd.) in memory of Mrs. Pushpa  Ojha, former Principal of this college.
