The Cabinet Minister emphasized the Punjab government’s dedication to society’s welfare. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann leads this effort. It focuses specifically on improving the lives of senior citizens. She urged the officers to implement all government schemes for senior citizens effectively and without delay at the grassroots level.

Dr. Baljit Kaur said that departmental supervisors are conducting the survey under the campaign through the Msewa app. She praised the survey progress in the districts of Hoshiarpur, Ferozepur, SAS Nagar, and Pathankot. She urged other districts to expedite their efforts. The Minister emphasized the importance of the survey process. It is crucial for safeguarding the interests of the elderly. She stated that the authorities would not tolerate any negligence in this process and would take strict action against any officer or employee found derelict in their duties.
