चंडीगढ़, मई 5, 2022: रिलायंस जियो को हरियाणा सरकार के ई-अधिगम (एडवांस्ड डिजिटल हरियाणा इनिशिएटिव ऑफ गवर्नमेंट विद एडैप्टिव मॉड्यूल्स) कार्यक्रम के तहत नेटवर्क प्रोवाइडरों में से एक चुना गया है। जियो का चयन उसके व्यावसायिक और तकनीकी कौशल के आधार पर एक निविदा प्रक्रिया के माध्यम से किया गया है।
हरियाणा सरकार ने ऑनलाइन शिक्षा के महत्व को ध्यान में रखते हुए ई-अधिगम कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की है।
इस योजना के पहले चरण में राज्य के सरकारी स्कूलों के दसवीं और बारहवीं कक्षा में पढ़ने वाले 5 लाख छात्रों को प्रतिदिन 2GB मुफ्त डेटा और पर्सनलाइज्ड एडेप्टिव लर्निंग (पीएएल) सॉफ्टवेयर से लैस टैबलेट मुफ्त दिए जाएंगे।
जियो के हरियाणा सरकार के ई-अधिगम कार्यक्रम से जुड़ने से राज्य के छात्रों को निर्बाध, हाई स्पीड 4G कनेक्टिविटी मिलेगी। हरियाणा में 85.4 लाख ग्राहकों के उच्चतम ग्राहक आधार के साथ, जियो राज्य में सबसे लोकप्रिय दूरसंचार ऑपरेटर है। एक प्रमुख कारक जिसने हरियाणा में जियो के तेजी से विकास में योगदान दिया है, वह है इसका मजबूत और सबसे बड़ा ट्रू 4जी नेटवर्क। इतना ही नहीं, जियो लगातार अपने नेटवर्क को बढ़ा रहा है। हरियाणा में जियो की व्यापक पहुंच, राज्य के दूर-दराज के क्षेत्रों में भी छात्रों को आसानी से ऑनलाइन पढ़ाई करने में मदद करेगी। हरियाणा में जियो के नेतृत्व का एक और महत्वपूर्ण कारण युवाओं और ग्रामीण बाजार में इसकी अत्यधिक स्वीकृति है।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री. मनोहर लाल खट्टर ने आज महर्षि दयानंद विश्वविद्यालय (एमडीयू), रोहतक में सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले छात्रों को टैबलेट प्रदान करने की योजना शुरू की। इस अवसर पर हरियाणा के शिक्षा मंत्री श्री. कंवर पाल गुर्जर, डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ हायर एजुकेशन के अधिकारी और रिलायंस जियो के अधिकारी भी शामिल थे।
Jio chosen as one of the network providers for Haryana govt’s e-Adhigam programme
This programme will digitally empower school students and bring them equal opportunities to be able to compete in today’s world
CHANDIGARH: Reliance Jio has been selected as one of the network providers under the e-Adhigam (Advanced Digital Haryana Initiative of Government with Adaptive Modules) programme of the Haryana government. The operator has been selected through a tender process on the basis of its commercial and technical prowess.
The Haryana government initiated the e-Adhigam programme keeping in mind the importance of online education.
In the first phase of this ambitious scheme, 5 lakh students studying in classes X and XII of government schools in the state will be given free tablets equipped with 2GB free data per day and Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) software.
With Jio, coming on board, students of the state will get seamless, high speed 4G connectivity. With the highest subscriber base of 85.4 lakh subscribers in Haryana, Jio is the most popular telecom operator in the state. A key factor that has contributed to Jio’s rapid growth in Haryana is its robust and largest true 4G network. What’s more, the operator has also been continuously augmenting its network strength. It is Jio’s wide reach in the state that will help students even in far-flung areas of the state to do online studies with ease. Another significant reason for Jio’s leadership in Haryana is its overwhelming acceptance amongst youth and the rural market.
Jio, being the fastest operator is another plus point that will help students. With an average download speed of 21.1 Mbps, Jio topped the download speed chart, according to the latest data published by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar today launched the scheme to provide tablets to the students studying in government schools at Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. Also present on the occasion was Haryana Education Minister Sh. Kanwar Pal Gujjar, officials of the Department of Higher Education and Reliance Jio officials, among others.
