He stated, “Before our government, over 3,000 schools in Punjab didn’t even have basic Clean toilets facilities. Where was their shame when our daughters had to relieve themselves in the open? Many of them often dropped out of school due to the lack of clean and safe bathrooms.” Bains further lambasted the Congress, BJP, and Akali Dal for failing Punjab’s children for decades. “Their children attended elite schools with air-conditioned bathrooms. Meanwhile, they deprived the children of laborers and farmers of even the most basic facilities. These clean toilets aren’t mere structures—they are a reminder of their 75 years of apathy and failure,” he asserted. The AAP government has successfully built toilets in every school. They have ensured clean drinking water as well. This brings dignity to students and transforms government schools into spaces of respect and equality.
