
Chandigarh, August 22 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that in line with Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India), entrepreneurs are playing the most crucial role.
The Global Leadership Summit-2025 was organized in Chandigarh on Friday, where leading industrialists and young entrepreneurs from different states participated. Welcoming everyone, the Chief Minister said that it is a matter of pride to see such a large gathering of talented entrepreneurs. He congratulated the T.I.E. Global team for organizing the event and appreciated their role in promoting entrepreneurship.
The Chief Minister said that Haryana has created a favourable environment for startups and entrepreneurship. He added that Haryana is one of the most business-friendly states in the country for industrial investment.
To improve Ease of Doing Business, Haryana has carried out several reforms. The state has reduced more than 1,100 compliances and implemented a single-window system with 230 online services.
In conclusion, the Chief Minister said that Haryana aims to become a startup hub and create more opportunities for investors. He urged all entrepreneurs to invest more in the state and become partners in the campaign of ‘Viksit Bharat – Viksit Haryana’.
Former Minister Sh. Aseem Goel said that Haryana is fully prepared to take the state forward. He invited all entrepreneurs for domestic investment, assuring them of a better environment for business.
Industry and Commerce Department’s Commissioner & Secretary Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal said that Haryana has achieved unprecedented progress in the last 10 years and reached several important milestones in its development journey. He informed that despite having only 1.3% of the geographical area and 2.1% of the population, Haryana contributes 3.6% to the national GDP and 7.1% to GST collections.
He said this achievement is the result of the state’s strong industrial framework, progressive policy environment, and innovation-driven strategies. He also said that the state government’s goal is to make Haryana not only an engine of economic growth but also a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship.
On this occasion, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Sh. Arun Kumar Gupta and Director General of Information, Public Relations & Languages Department Sh. K.M. Pandurang were also present.
