AAP will go ahead with Kisan Maha Sammelan as per plan, will follow all necessary Covid guidelines
Chandigarh, March 19, 2021
Following the recent guidelines brought about by the Congress government in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in a statement issued on Friday said that it would go as per their plan and conduct the Kisan Maha Sammelan to be held at Bagha Purana on March 21. The AAP stated that they would follow all the necessary Covid guidelines that were being prescribed by the administration. “The AAP will go ahead with their plan to strengthen the voices of the farmers and will do their Maha Sammelan,” it added.
On March 21, AAP‘s national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is coming to Bagha Purana to strengthen the agitation of the farmers. The AAP said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led central government had cheated the farmers and had stabbed them in the back, in conspiracy to take away their lands. Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party has always stood with the farmers. From the road to the Parliament, the AAP has raised the voice of the farmers and helped them by working as ‘sewadars’.
