In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Punjab Government has ordered the transfer of two senior police officers to the Vigilance Bureau. The order was issued by the Department of Home Affairs (Home-I Branch) with immediate effect.
According to the official notification, Tushar Gupta, IPS (2018 batch), who was serving as AIG Provisioning in Punjab and also held the additional charge of SSP, Sadak Suraksha Force (SSF), has been relieved from his current duties. He has now been placed at the disposal of the Vigilance Bureau, Punjab.
In another move, Prabhjot Kaur, PPS (2016 batch), who was awaiting posting after her promotion as SP, has also been posted to the Vigilance Bureau.
