Ghungrali Villagers Thank CM for Resolving Bio gas Plant Issue

BHAGWANT MANN REITERATES COMMITMENT FOR COMPLETELY POLLUTION FREE PLANT

Chandigarh, November 22: Residents of village Ghungrali in Ludhiana district today called on the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and profusely thanked him for amicably resolving the issue of Bio gas plant by taking into confidence all the stakeholders.

Delegation of the village met the Chief Minister

A village delegation led by Hardeep Singh and newly elected Sarpanch Amritpal Singh met the Chief Minister at his office in the Punjab Civil Secretariat.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the upcoming biogas plant will be pollution-free and emphasized the state’s commitment to reducing pollution with a zero-tolerance policy.

Bhagwant Singh Mann assured that the plant will remain completely pollution-free, and he will not tolerate any violations of norms.

Bio gas : CM  Warns Against Pollution Violations

The Chief Minister announced that the government will constitute an oversight committee comprising all stakeholders to regularly monitor the project. Moreover, Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that the state has a zero-tolerance policy on pollution and will take strict action against violators. In addition, plant owners have agreed to follow environmental norms, with the Punjab Pollution Control Board ensuring strict monitoring.

Furthermore, Bhagwant Singh Mann emphasised that violations of environmental norms are completely unwarranted and undesirable. He also firmly stated that such actions will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

CM  Announces Sports Nursery & Hi-Tech Library

The Chief Minister praised the villagers for setting an exemplary model of public cooperation. Furthermore, he stated that the government would explore the establishment of a sports nursery to channel the youth’s energy in a positive direction, announce a hi-tech library, and address all other genuine demands from the villagers.

Additionally, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora and other prominent officials were present on the occasion.
