Chandigarh, September 30: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan today honored 14-year-old Gurseerat Kaur. She is a student at Mount Carmel School, Sector 47, Chandigarh, and has achieved remarkable success in the Asian School Boxing Championship. This event took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from August 28 to September 10, 2024, where Gurseerat won the Gold Medal for her outstanding boxing skills.
This victory follows her impressive performance in the ASBC Asian Junior, Schoolboys, and Schoolgirls Boxing Championship trials held in Rohtak, Haryana, from August 8 to 11, where she secured first place.
