Nishad Kumar calls on Chief Minister

Nishad Kumar, the silver medalist of Paris Paralympics- 2024 from Una district called on Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu here today and shared his experiences with him.

The Chief Minister congratulated Nishad Kumar for his remarkable achievement and said that his success serves as an inspiration to the youth of the State, encouraging them to strive towards their dreams with dedication. He said that the State Government was offering various facilities and incentives to the youth to excel in their fields and bring laurels to the Nation as well as the State.

Nishad Kumar has also secured silver medal in Tokyo Paralympics 2020, won a Gold Medal at Asian Para Games, 2022 held in China and holds the Asian record in high jump.  He is also the recipient of the prestigious Arjuna Award.
