Haryana CM Felicitates 61 Candidates Selected in IAS and Other Services
You will be the torchbearers in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, CM to UPSC selected candidates
Chandigarh, July 15 – Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini today felicitated 61 candidates from Haryana selected in Indian Administrative Service (IAS ) and other services conducted by the Union Public Service Commission in a ceremony held here today. While congratulating the successful candidates, he expressed hope that they will contribute their talents towards realising Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047 and will continue to uphold the pride of dynamic Haryana through their commendable work.
CM Address at Haryana Niwas: Unity in Diversity and Service to Nation
Addressing the ceremony as the Chief Guest at Haryana Niwas, the Chief Minister said, You all are the foundation and pillars of the dream of a developed India. The country has high expectations from you. I trust that you will reach every part of the country, strengthening the spirit of unity in diversity and making Haryana proud. Despite the different languages, dialects, cultures, and traditions in the country, there is a core of unity in these diversities.
The Chief Minister said that every tenth person in Haryana is a part of the Indian Army, and these candidates will serve the nation with full dedication and zeal. He said that he is hopeful that all the successful candidates, after getting postings, will work towards simplifying the lives of citizens by finding straightforward solutions within the existing system. Helping others is a tradition in our country, and these candidates will also contribute to enhancing the nation’s honour and dignity by following this tradition, said Nayab Singh Saini.
The Chief Minister remarked that significant changes have been witnessed in the country over the past 10 years. As a result, powerful countries of the world are eager to talk to India’s dynamic leader Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Therefore, it is our duty to make India a leading nation in the world, and you all will play a crucial role in this, he said.
“Senior IAS Efforts in Advancing Haryana’s Development”
He said that just as the senior IAS officers working presently have made efforts to bring Haryana on the path of progress and development, these candidates will also contribute to the country’s development.
Earlier speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary T.V.S.N Prasad said that at one time he himself had come to Haryana from Hyderabad after passing the Indian Administrative Service conducted by the Union Public Service Commission like them, and during his 36 years of service, he received immense love from the people of Haryana and he is happy to have remained a part of Haryana. He urged them to serve the country with honesty and hard work.
During the interaction, Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Rajesh Khullar discussed the changes that have taken place in Haryana over the past 10 years with the candidates. He called upon the candidates to use their pen to bring improvements in people’s lives.
Director General of Police, Sh. Shatrujeet Kapur, also addressed the candidates. The ceremony was attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Sh. Anurag Rastogi, Additional Chief Secretary, Environment, Forests & Wildlife Department, Anand Mohan Sharan, Special Secretary, Personnel and Training, Sh. Prabhjot Singh, and other senior officers.
