The convoy of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is increasing day by day due to the work being done by the party for the people of Punjab. AAP got a major boost when more than half a dozen big personalities of Punjab joined the party. Several prominent leaders from Majha region joined AAP at the party headquarters here in the presence of party’s state in-charge and Delhi MLA Jarnail Singh on Wednesday. Being fed up with the anti-people policies of the current Congress party in the state, former Gurdaspur district Congress general secretary Gurdip Singh Randhawa, Maninder Singh Bajwa of Amritsar, advocate at Punjab and Haryana High Court and social worker and former senior medical officer (SMO) from Mohali, Dr Daler Singh Multani joined AAP along with their associates.
Also, Mahendra Singh Khushalpur, former director Linemar Bank, Dera Baba Nanak, Raju Masih, director Market Committee, Shahpur village, Dera Baba Nanak, Parminder Singh Randhawa, Ramesh Singh Padda, Manpreet Singh Padda, Hari Singh and Amandeep Singh from Gurdaspur district joined the AAP. On the occasion, Dr Daler Singh Multani, who had done a commendable job in the health sector from Mohali district, also joined the party, agreeing with the public support policies of AAP.
Dr Multani had been raising big issues regarding health facilities and had exposed the government policies while raising many big issues during the previous Akali-BJP government. The leaders who joined the party said that whatever responsibility would be given to them, they would work to strengthen the party with full vigor. On the occasion the party’s state in-charge Jarnail Singh welcomed all the leaders and said that due to the public policies of the AAP, the stature of the party was increasing all over the state.
He said that to build a new Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party would live up to the expectations of the people. On the occasion, party’s state general secretary Harchand Singh Barsat, state treasurer Neena Mittal, Justice Zora Singh (retd),youth leader Ranjit Singh Sandhu from Gurdaspur district, Parminder Singh Goldy and Prabhjot Kaur from Mohali district, among others were present.
