ALL PRAISE FOR THE QUICK DECISIONS OF MANN GOVERNMENT BY INDUSTRIALISTS AT SARKAR-SANATKAR MILINI AT MOHALI

 

SAY THEY HAVE GOT EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAVE IN THEIR MINDS IN A ONE AND HALF YEAR OF THIS GOVERNMENT’S STINT

Industrialists taking part in Sarkar Sanyatkar Milni at Mohali showered all praise on Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for the quick decision making to safeguard interests of industrialists.

Sharing their experiences, the Industrialists said whatever they had in their minds, they have got from the Government in its first one and half stint.

Vinay Singla from Derabassi said that he had highlighted the bad condition of the Barwala road. Now he got the information that the govt has sanctioned Rs. 03 crore and the work would be completed soon. He was very thankful to the govt. for this speedy action.

Gurkirat Singh said that he was looking for the land to set up his unit. Invest punjab helped him a lot to buy the suitable land at Derabassi. Now he is on the track to establish his new venture.

Amandeep Johal a Golf Coach gave the suggestion that if the state was looking for big investments then the govt. should make punjab Golf capital of the country which would definitely fascinate the industrialists as investors towards punjab.

Vishal Jindal from LD floors, Derabassi, a Green Stamp Paper user, expressed his gratitude towards invest punjab for guiding him about the green stamp paper facility. With the help of which he got the clearences from various departments.

Gaurav Jindal from General Mills appreciated the initiative of green stamp papers besides this he also made some submissions to expedite the process of granting the clearance regarding some departments.

Vikas Jain from JSW steel said, “he got all the approvals in a short span of time and invested 250 crore rupees and provided employment to 650 skilled job seekers and workers in the steel and cement sector. He thanked CM  and Invest Punjab for their initiatives. He disclosed that they are going to invest Rs 1000 crore in the state soon.

Sanjay Yadav from Panacea, appreciated the CM Bhagwant Singh Maan led Punjab Government for bringing the crystal clear transparency in the industry and commerce department which has provided a comfortable and supporting ecosystem for the development of the Industry.

Manipal Dhaliwal from Netsmartz said that the State of Punjab has the great potential to make significant space in the IT sector which it had missed 20 years back. Till now, he had invested more than Rs 200 crores. Now, he was moving ahead for the further investment of Rs.500 crores.

He also made some key recommendations which includes the propagation of the IT policy at world level. He said that IT city is coming up near the airport so to boost it an exemplary way, the state government must push the process for more and more  international flights.

P.J. Singh from CII said that he have no words for appreciation to the Punjab Chief Minister. Solutions are being delivered with immediate effect. He bemoaned that No change was made in the policy in the last five years but now under the leadership of Bhagwat Singh Maan, the state government has amended and introduced the policies with immediate effect as per the suggestions and needs of the industrialists.

R.S. Sachdeva from PHD Chamber thanked the CM for the Industrial meets. He said that most of the demands have been met. He said that when the incumbent government came into existence, the GST gap was huge but the Government has plugged the gap with full efficiency. When CM Maan visited Mumbai, he announced the introduction of the colour coding Stamp papers in the state it has been working marvellously.

The issue of the compounding has also been sorted out. He said that Mohali is Gateway of Punjab besides a huge source of revenue. He suggested that it should be named as industrial capital while including the adjoining districts with the advance planning of 10 years. He disclosed that the industrial land was available near Kurali but the roads are narrow, widening of the roads would be a major boost for the industry.

Baljit Singh, President Mohali Industrial Association said that all the officers are doing very well. They are resolving each and every issue concerned with industry.He flagged the issue that the  rents for industrial sites are huge. State government must convert the big plots into smaller plots and these must be allotted to the real and young industrialists on the basis of long term easy installments.

Nirdosh Bali from Focal Point industries association stated that all the demands of the industry have been fulfilled. He also suggested some key steps regarding the further improvement of the industrial power supply.

Rakesh Aggarwal from Derabassi Industrial Association lauded the initiatives of the State Government and said that with the help of Punjab Government, now Derabassi was a Brand name in the industrial sector. He disclosed that Paddy Straw based power house of Five Megawatts, established last year with the efforts of the CM Maan, could absorb the whole paddy straw of the district. He requested for the one time settlement for the industrial units which were established before the implementation of Master Plan of 2009. He also appreciated the Green colour stamp paper initiative and also suggested some more steps for its further improvement.
