Rajeev Thakur and Shahnaz Sehar hold the premiere for their upcoming film “Kanjoos Majnu, Kharchili Laila”; Movie releasing on January 13, 2023

Chandigarh, 11 January 2023: Blockbuster Moviesss is releasing the rib-tickling Punjabi Comedy film- Kanjoos Majnu Kharcheeli Laila directed by Avtar Singh and starring actor-comedian Rajiv Thakur and Shehnaz Sehar in the lead on 13 January 2023. The film‘s star cast has seasoned actors like Nirmal Rishi, Brijender Kala, Sudesh Sharma, Seema Kaushal, Aman Sidhu, and Anoop Sharma playing supporting roles.

A riotous Punjabi comedy, ‘Kanjoos Majnu Kharchili Laila’ tells the tale of a miserly young man trying to woo his love interest who has a taste for finer things in life and has big dreams of a high-flying, jet-setting lifestyle. The real twist comes when the protagonist of the film has to keep his love interest happy but on a BUDGET.

Rajiv Thakur plays the role of the endearing Kanjoos Majnu who is trying to do a balancing act of keeping his prodigal wife happy without upsetting his miserly family. The talented Shehnaz Sehar plays the role of Kharcheeli Laila with dreams of having a luxurious lifestyle and unfortunately falls in love with a parsimonious kanjoos-to-the-bone young man.
