State government fulfilled 18 promises in its first 100 days: CM
Chandigarh, February 27 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the intention and agenda of the government are clear due to which development work is being done at a fast pace in the state. The present government has taken many important decisions in its 100-day tenure and has made efforts to make the lives of people better.
The Chief Minister was addressing a programme organized in Kaithal on Thursday. He said the state government has fulfilled 18 promises of the Sankalp Patra in its 100-day tenure while 10 promises will be fulfilled soon. He said after the formation of the triple engine government, work will be done three times faster.
He said as soon as the government was formed for the third time in the state, free dialysis facility was provided to kidney patients in all medical colleges and PGIs. Ownership rights were given to tenant farmer families. Along with this, giving relief to the people living in houses built on panchayat land for over 20 years, an Act was passed in the Assembly and they were given ownership rights.
He said 15 lakh women are being given gas cylinders for Rs 500 whereas it has been two and a half years since the Congress came to power in Himachal Pradesh, but it has not fulfilled its promise of giving gas cylinders to women for Rs 500 and Rs 1500 per month to them.
He said Haryana is the first state where all the crops of farmers are being purchased on MSP. The government does not have any shortage of money. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, development work will be done in the state at three times the speed.
Targeting Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister said he had accused Haryana of mixing poison in Yamuna. He said the people of Haryana cannot do such a thing. Yamuna Mata and the people of Delhi wiped out those who spread lies.
The Chief Minister, while targeting the Congress, said Congress leaders have become tweet masters. They do not see the public welfare work being done by the government. Congress leaders only tweet instead of seeing what is happening on the ground. MP Sh. Naveen Jindal and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
